Lecture at the central emergency room of the Ottakring Clinic

At the central emergency room of the Ottakring clinic, I was allowed to give a lecture on emergencies in the ENT area

Today I was allowed to give a lecture at the central emergency room of the Ottakring clinic about emergencies in the ENT area and present case vignettes from the practice of an ENT doctor.

Emergency situations in the ENT area are relatively common. In order to avert a life-threatening threat to the patient or permanent damage, a doctor has to act quickly. Orientation is provided by the main symptoms, such as B. shortness of breath, pain or bleeding. They limit the diagnosis of the underlying disease and make it easier to quickly select the appropriate therapy. In my lecture, I presented the most important emergencies in the ENT area and outlined how patients can be optimally cared for.

Thanks to all colleagues for listening attentively and for this exciting opportunity!
