Nosebleeds usually occur in the area of ​​the Kiesselbachi locus in the front part of the nasal septum. The best thing to do here is to first bend your head forward and then press your nostrils together with your fingers. At the same time, a cool compress should be placed on the neck. As a rule, a nosebleed can be stopped within 10 minutes without any problems.

If the nosebleed cannot be controlled in this way, a handkerchief can be rolled up and carefully pushed into the affected nostril. Ideally, the handkerchief can be used to compress the bleeding so that the nosebleed can be stopped within 10 to 15 minutes. 

If this is not successful, an obvious ENT emergency clinic to stop the nosebleed.

Once the nosebleed has stopped, you should avoid blowing your nose and pressing hard for at least 3 days to avoid causing another nosebleed. If it starts again, you can try the above home remedies again.
